ABSOLUTION Nu. 7417 , REGARDING NOTICE OF SPECInL COUNCIL MEETINGS
W HEREAS the Medina City Council wishes to encourage the widest
possible knowledge of and public participation in the affairs of the
city, and wishes to conform to the letter and spirit of state open
meeting laws;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina that notice of special city council meetings shall be
posted at least 18 hours in advance in at least three locations --
the city offices, the Medina library reading room in the CIA* Hall,
and the Farmers State Bank of Hamel;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city clerk or a member of the
City Council shall attempt to notify local news media of any special
meetings.
