A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL TRANSFER OF
APPROPRIATION BETWEEN CLASSIFICATIONS OF APPROPRIATION
IN THE 1998 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, pursuant to I.C. 6-
1.1-18-6, hereby authorizes transfers of appropriations between classifications of the following
departments in the 1998 budget for the City of Greencastle:
DEPARTMENT - PLAN AND ZONE
32,000.00 From 101005398 Plan & Zone Memberships to 101005212 Print& Copy Supply
DEPARTMENT -POLICE
3900.00 From 101008365 Meter Repairs to 101008441 Police Vehicles
DEPARTMENT -MVII
32,000.00 From 201001232 Sand and Gravel to 201001364 Tree and Stump Removal
DEPARTMENT - PARK
3250.00 From 204001223 General Supplies to 204001224 Uniform Supplies.
The Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, hereby finds:
1. The transfers are needed to provide appropriations for necessary expenditures in
the year 1998.
2. The transfers do not require the expenditure of more money than that amount set
out in the budget as finally determined.
The Clerk-Treasurer shall certify these transfers to the Putnam County Auditor by filing a
copy of this resolution at said office.
