A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to appropriate additional funds over
what was appropriated in the annual budget; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, pursuant to notice published on December 31, 1998 in the
Banner Graphic, was held at the Regular Session of the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle on January 12, 1999 at 7:00 p.m.;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana, that the following additional sums of money is hereby
appropriated out of surplus unappropriated funds for the purposes specified, subject to the laws
governing the same:
2351 EDIT
444001316 Engineering 10th Street and Indianapolis Road $30,000.00
444001317 Engineering Franklin Street Improvements $45,000.00
TOTAL EDIT $75,000.00
2379 Cumulative Capital Improvement
401001411 Purchase of Property $30,000.00
TOTAL CCI $30,000.00
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 12th day of January, 1999 at 8`0 0 p.m.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana
that the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at their regular meeting place at the
Putnam County Library 7:00 p.m. on the 12th day of January, 1999 will consider the
following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional
appropriation as finally made will be referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners. The
Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the
appropriation made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
