RESOLUTION NO. 1999- 22
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
(Funding the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center)
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. continues to
play a key role in attracting new business and industry, and retaining and assisting business
and industry; and
WHEREAS, a matching fund grant of $30,000 from the interest earned on the
Industrial Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development
Center for 1999, and the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center shall raise an
equivalent sum from other sources.
WHEREAS, any expenditures from the Industrial Development Fund must be
approved in writing by a majority of the members of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory
Commission for Industrial Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Greencastle Common Council authorizes the expenditure of $30,000.00 per
annum - $15,000.00 payable immediately and the remainder payable October 1st - for the
1999 year in matching funds from the Industrial Development Fund, contingent upon
approval of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development.

Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana.
