RESOLUTION NO. 03 -4197
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA CASTING ITS VOTES FOR MAYOR PRO TEM MARGARET
CLARK OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA TO REPRESENT CITIES
WITHOUT PRESCRIPTIVE WATER PUMPING RIGHTS ON THE BOARD OF
THE SAN GABRIEL BASIN WATER QUALITY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, on September 22, 1992, Senate Bill 1679 was signed into law by Governor
Pete Wilson authorizing the creation of the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Board of the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority is composed of
seven members with three appointed members from each of the three municipal water districts,
one elected city council person from cities in the San Gabriel Basin with prescriptive water
pumping rights, and one elected city council person from cities in the San Gabriel Basin without
prescriptive water pumping rights; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City is one of the cities in the San Gabriel Basin without
prescriptive water pumping rights; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City may cast its votes for a representative by resolution
no later than July 18, 2003 at 5:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City casts its full votes for Mayor Pro
Tem Margaret Clark of the City of Rosemead as the representative for cities in the San Gabriel
Basin without prescriptive water pumping rights.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 1st day of July, 2003.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution,
Resolution No. 03 -4197, was duly passed, approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Temple City held on the 1st day of July, 2003 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember - Arrighi, Capra, Wong, Zovak, Vizcarra
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
