A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
(Funding the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center)
WHEREAS,the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc. continues to
play a key role in attracting new business and industry, and retaining and assisting business
and industry; and
WHEREAS, a matching fund grant of$30,000 from the interest earned on the
Industrial Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development
Center for 2000, and the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center shall raise an
equivalent sum from other sources.
WHEREAS, any expenditures from the Industrial Development Fund must be
approved in writing by a majority of the members of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory
Commission for Industrial Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that:
The Greencastle Common Council authorizes the expenditure of$30,000.00 per
annum- $15,000.00 payable in October and the remainder payable in December-for the
2000 year in matching funds from the Industrial Development Fund, contingent upon
approval of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory--Commission for Industrial Development.

GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., has requested a
matching fund grant of$30,000.00 for the year 2000 from the interest earned on the Industrial
Development Fund; and,
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play
a key role in attracting new business and industry, retaining and assisting existing business and
I industry.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITIZENS ADVISORY
COMMISSION FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT by its Resolution request disbursement
of$30,000.00 for funding the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center for the year 2000.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial
Development at its regular meeting this 9th day of August 2000.
