EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular (special)
meeting of the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, was
held at the City Hall in said City on the 7th day of January, 1975.

introduced the following resolution
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON
IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, a report has been given by the City's consulting
engineers, McCombs -Knutson Associates, Inc., to the City Council on
JQ;� , 1945, recommending the following improvement,
to -wit:
The construction and installation of a Municipal
Sanitary Sewer and Water System and all appurtenances
to serve the following described property:
All of the North Half of Section 18, Township 118,
Range 23 lying westerly of County Road No. 19.
That property in the South Half of Section 18,
Township 118, Range 23 abutting County Road 19.
That property in Section 19, Township 118, Range 23
abutting County Road 19 and all of Independence
Heights third addition.
That property in the North Half of Section 30, Town-
ship 118, Range 23 abutting the street which•is
centered on the West section line. s
Estimated Cost: Sanitary Sewer $730,000) Total $1,168,000
Water $438,000) .
MEDINA:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1. The Council will consider the aforesaid improvement
in accordance with the report and the assessment of
property abutting or within the aforedescribed

boundaries for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to M.S.A. Sec. 429.011 to 429.111,
at the estimated total cost of the improvement as shown.
2. A public hearin shall be held on such proposed improve-
ment o the day of T,eu.t , 1975, at the

such hearing and improvement as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of /the foregoing resolution was

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of

making of the following described improvements:

pursuant to M.S.A. Sec. 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be
assessed for such im7Y_vements is all the property abutting and
within the aforedescribad boundaries. The estimated cost of such
improvements is $1,168,000. Such persons as desire to be heard with
reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.
