DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF A RAFFLE LICENSE TO THE
HOL Y FAMILY R.c. CHURCH AND ST. JOSEPH R.C. CHURCH
WHEREAS, application has been properly made to the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret by Holy Family R.C. Church and St. Joseph R.C. Church;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the applicants are qualified to be licensed and the
members designated to conduct RAFFLES and to assist are bona fide membcrs
ofthe applicant; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have signified that the games will be playcd in
accordance with Rules 6, 7 and 8 of the Legalized Games of Chance Control
Commission's Regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to executc the endorsement of the Mayor and Council by
issuing proper presentation of application and fees, a RAFFLE LICENSE to the
applicants;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, P.O. Box
46000, Newark, New Jersey 07101.
CERTIFICATION
I hereby ce11ify that this Resolution is a true copy of the original
adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough ofCarteret, County of
Middlesex State of New Jersey, at the Council Meeting held on
Januarv 25.2007
