.-� A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA
REGARDING ITS DECLARATION OF
OFFICIAL INTENT TO REIMBURSE EXPENDITURES
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana ("Common
Council") intends to purchase and reconstruct a building for the purpose of a police
station in the City ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Common Council will use funds from the Capital Adjusted
Gross Income Tax Fund to pay for certain costs of the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council reasonably expects to reimburse certain costs
of the Project and replenish the Capital Adjusted Gross Income Tax Fund with proceeds
of either its temporary debt or its long term debt to be incurred by the City, in an amount
not to exceed $750,000;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, THAT:
Section 1. The Common Council hereby declares its official intent to undergo
and complete the Project and to reimburse the City for the costs of the Project with
proceeds of either temporary debt or long term debt to be incurred by the City, and to
issue debt not to exceed $750,000 for purposes of paying and reimbursing costs of the
Project.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and
approval by the Mayor.

Indiana, this 14th day of August, 2001, by a vote of 2 ayes and nays.
