RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA
DECLARING ITS OFFICIAL INTENT TO PURCHASE
PROPERTY AT 115 GREEN STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has determined that it is necessary to relocate the
Greencastle Police Department due to the condition of the current building where it is located;
WHEREAS, the City has determined that 115 Green Street and the adjoining land thereto
are an appropriate locations for the Greencastle Police Department; and
WHEREAS, two appraisals have been completed of the property at 115 Green Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle hereby declares its official intent to purchase the property at 115 Green Street
contingent upon the City and the Land Owner reaching a mutually acceptable purchase
agreement for the property.
