RESOLUTION 2001-36
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION IN THE
2001 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
The Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, hereby authorizes transfer of
appropriation in the following departments in the 2001 budget for the City of Greencastle:

$ 3,000.00 From 101007111 Salaries to 101007362 General Repairs
$ 3,000.00 From 101007111 Salaries to 101007224 Boots, Foam Coats
$ 1,000.00 From 101007222 Tires, Tubes, Batteries to 101007237 Equipment Maintenance
$ 2,000.00 From 101007315 Physicals to 101007237 Equipment Maintenance
$ 1,000.00 From 101007316 Fire Extinguishers to 101007223 General Operating Supplies
$ 3,000.00 From 101007221 Gas, Oil, Lubricants to 101007224 Boots, Foam, Coats

1. The transfers are needed to provide appropriations for necessary expenditures in the year
2001.
2. The transfers do not require the expenditure of more money than the amount set out in the
budget as finally determined.
The Clerk-Treasurer shall certify these transfers to the Putnam County Auditor by filing a
copy of this Resolution at said office.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana
this 9th day of October 2001.

Amendment to Zoning Map, Chapter 10-38 of the City of Greencastle Code to Rezone 19.39
acres located North of the Deerfield and Castlebury residential areas from an R1 to an R2
zone. Legal Descriptions attached.
Petitioner: Daniel and Barton
WHEREAS,the Plan Commission of the City of Greencastle initiated and prepared the attached ordinance to
amend the City of Greencastle Planning and Zoning Ordinance by amending the zoning map; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that it held a public hearing concerning this
ordinance on October 22, 2001, after timely notice of the hearing was given by publication in the Banner-
- Graphic, Greencastle,Indiana on October 12,2001; and
WHEREAS,the Greencastle Plan Commission has reported that it paid reasonable regard to the following factors
enumerated in I.C. 36-7-4-603 in consideration of the ordinance and determination of a recommendation to be
made to the Common Council:
1. the comprehensive plan;
2. current conditions and the character of current structures and uses in each district;
3. the most desirable use for which the land in each district is adapted;
4. the conservation of property values throughout the jurisdiction; and
5. responsible growth and development.
WHEREAS,the Greencastle Plan Commission certifies this ordinance to the Common Council with favorable
recommendation,subject to the conditions or commitments attached hereto and/or stated in the minutes o the Plan
Commission,and incorporated herein and made a part of this certification.
