Green cast].e Rotary
WHEREAS, the citizens of the Greencastle community are the recipients of many hours of dedicated service and
philanthropic activities of Greencastle Rotarians; and
WHEREAS, Rotary's support of numerous civic improvement projects such as:Roban Park,People Pathway,Greencastle
High School Scholarship and Hoosier Girls State,the Mayor's Bowlathon for the Senior Center,the Putnam
County Public Library, the Putnam County Food Pantry, the Putnam County Skate Park, Putnam County
Hospital and highway clean up; and
WHEREAS, Greencastle Rotarians have sponsored numerous exchange students that have enriched all our lives; and
N WHEREAS, many McDonald's breakfast sandwiches have been served by the Greencastle Rotary to customers craving a
good meal; and
WHEREAS, members of the Greencastle Rotary have continued to provide leadership,energy and inspiration to Greencastle
I e--` and the surrounding area, and along with Indiana Rotary and Rotary International have supported the
elimination of polio through support of Polio Plus, improving the lives of all citizens.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana,
declares its gratitude for the members of the Greencastle Rotary organization who have demonstrated that the people of the
Greencastle community are its greatest resource.
