A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING THE 2010 - 2014 REDEVELOPMENT FIVE YEAR IMPLEMENTATION
'PLAN
WHEREAS, Pursuant to California Redevelopment Law ("CRL") Health and
Safety Code Section 33490, every 5 years the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency
(Agency) must fulfill its, legal requirements, by preparing a comprehensive update of the
Agency's Implementation Plan; and
WHEREAS, The five year implementation plan, established in 1994 is a.strategic
plan that identifies goals, objectives, activities, and estimated expenditure for the next
five years, and describes how the. activities and expenditures will alleviate blight and
meet affordable housing objectives; and

WHEREAS, On November 11, 2009 the Agency conducted a stakeholders
meeting to present the draft to the public and allow for discussion and comments
regarding the Plan; and
WHEREAS, On November 12, 2009 the Agency began advertising the public
hearing notice for. the required three (3) weeks prior to the public hearing in the local
newspaper, on the City website and was posted in the. Redevelopment Department and
City kiosk outside City Hall; and
WHEREAS, On November 18, 2009 the Draft Plan was available for viewing on
the City's website and in the Redevelopment Department and was distributed to those
entities and individuals on _the Agency mailing list; and
WHEREAS, On December 1, 2009 The Agency conducted a public hearing at a
regular meeting and reviewed, analyzed and approved said Implementation Plan
document; and
WHEREAS, The 2010 - 2014 Redevelopment Five Year Implementation Plan
fulfills the requirement to update the Redevelopment Implementation Plan pursuant to
California Redevelopment Law ("CRL") Health and Safety Code Section 33490.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED BY THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Agency authorizes the amendment to the Five Year
Implementation Plan and approves the 2010 - 2014 Five Year Implementation Plan.
Section 2. This resolution becomes effective immediately upon adoption.
