A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING ST`AFF T~O S~O>1CIT BIDS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO
RECOVER UNCL-AIMED`FUNDS DU,E TO THE CITY

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to solicit bids for professional services
to recover unclaimed funds due to the City; and ~
WHEREAS, unclaimed funds held by the state are excluded from this request for
proposal; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to generate revenue that would allow the City to
, recover unclaimed funds owed to the City.
~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes staff to solicit bids for professional
services to recover unclaimed funds due to the City.
Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption. , ,
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1St day of December 2009.
