RESOLUTION NO. 03 -4210
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION AND DENYING A
REQUEST BY LILI LI FOR A ZONE VARIANCE TO ALLOW THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A 2,123 SQUARE FOOT SECOND DWELLING AT THE
REAR OF AN R -2 ZONED LOT, WHICH IS CURRENTLY IMPROVED WITH
AN EXISTING HOUSE THAT HAS A SIDE YARD SETBACK OF ONLY 1.73
FEET (INSTEAD OF THE REQUIRED 5 FEET) AT 6012 GOLDEN WEST
AVENUE (ZV 03 -1527)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon information contained in the Staff Report to the City Council and information
contained in the Planning Commission Staff Reports dated August 26, 2003 and June 24, 2003 as well as the
Planning Commission minutes; and based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the City
Council on October 7, 2003 and October 21, 2003, the City Council hereby denies the Zone Variance based upon
the findings set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 03- 2059PC.
SECTION 2. Accordingly, Zone Variance 03 -1527 is denied.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 21st day of October, 2003.
