RESOLUTION NO.7-5-8
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE INDEPENDENCE BEACH
SANITARY SEWER PROJECT AND ORDERING THE PRE-
PARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, action of the City Council of the City of Medina adopted on the
7th day of January, 1975 fixed the date for a public hearing on the construction and
installation of a Municipal Sanitary Sewer and all appurtenances to serve the
following described property:
A11 of the North half of Section 18, Township 118, Range 23,
lying Westerly of County Road No. 19.
That property in the South half of Section 18, Township 118,
Range 23, abutting County Road No. 19.
That property lying in Section 19, Township 118, Range 23,
abutting County Road 19, together with all of Independence
Heights Third Addition.
That property lying in the North half of Section 30, Township
118, Range 23, abutting the street which lies on the West line
of said Section 30.
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has given ten (10) days published notice of said
hearing by two weekly publications of said notice, together with mailed notice thereof
to all property owners in the proposed assessment district as shown on the records
of the Auditor of Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held thereon on the 4th day of February,
1975, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to
speak thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina:
1. Said improvement is hereby ordered as proposed;
2. McCombs Knutson Associates, Inc, is hereby designated as the
engineer for said improvement and is hereby ordered to prepare
plans and specifications for the making of said improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
