A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
BETWEfN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood contracts for animal care and control services;
and
WHEREAS, these services provided are executed by the County of Los Angeles
Department of Animal Care and Control; and
WHEREAS, the five year contract between the City and the County of Los
Angeles will expire of June 30, 2014. .
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AND DECLARE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves that certain Agreement for Animal
Care and Control Services, dated as of December 1, 2009, between the City of
Lynwood and the County of Los Angeles, in the form presented to this meeting.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to sign the
Agreement referenced above in Section 1.
Section 3. This Resolution is effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 1St day of December, 2009.
