A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
ORDERING THE TOWN CLERK AND TOWN TREASURER
TO EXECUTE A BOND AND SE'I-rING THE AMOUNT THEREOF
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 36518 of the State of California requires the
Town Clerk and Town Treasurer to execute a bond in favor of the Town of Truckee in
connection with duties performed on behalf of the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, Section 36518 provides the penal sum of the bond shall be a
reasonable amount recommended by the Town Attorney and fixed by the Town Council
by resolution and may be changed during the term of office; and
WHEREAS, the Interim Town Attorney recommends the Town Council fix the
amount of the bond to be $25,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Truckee that the Town Clerk and Town Treasurer shall each execute a bond in favor of
the Town of Truckee for $25,000.00, effective March 23, 1993.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 1993, by the
following vote:
