Special Session
October 21, 1991
The Greencastle Board of Works met in special session on Monday, October 21,
1991 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall. On call of the roll the following members were shown to
be present: Mayor Harmless, Mrs. Crawley, Mr. Lanie. Mr. Ron Smith and Mr. Larry
Wilson were also present.
Presented to the Board was a letter From Cheryl Salsman requesting the closure
of North Indiana Street from Washington to Franklin on Saturday, October 26, 1991
from 1-3 p.m. for the Merchants Association Halloween Window Painting. Mrs.Crawley
moved to approve the request. This motion was seconded by Mr. Lanie and was carried
by an aye unanimous vote.
Presented to the Board was an Greater Eastside Sewer Separation project
temporary easement claim from Tyler D. Winters, 1134 Avenue C, in the amount of
$210.00. Mrs. Crawley moved to approve the claim. This motion was seconded by Mr.
Lanie and was carried by an aye unanimous vote.
Resolution 1991-2, A Resolution Approving Water Purchase Agreement with
Reelsville Water Co., was presented to the Board and read in its entirety by Mayor
Harmless. The water purchase contract was read in its entirety by Mr. Wilson. Mrs.
Crawley moved to approve Resolution 1991-2 as presented. This motion was seconded
by Mr. Lanie and was carried by an aye unanimous vote.
Mayor Harmless declared Board of Works Resolution 1991-2 to have been passed
and adopted this date.
With no further business Mrs.Crawley moved for adjournment. This motion was
seconded by Mr. Lanie, was carried by an aye unanimous vote, and the meeting was
adjourned at 4:25 p.m.
