Special Session
July 2, 1992
The Greencastle Board of Works met in special session on Thursday,July 2, 1992 at 4:05
p.m. at the Greencastle Middle School. On call of the roll the following members were shown
to be present: Mayor Harmless, Dorothy Crawley, John Lanie. Also present were Ron Smith,
Cindy McCammack, Ken Eitel, and John O'Hair.
Mayor Harmless read a letter of recommendation from the Main Street Greencastle
Committee to reject all bids, change specifications, and readvertise and rebid the opera house
project.
Resolution 1992-4, A Resolution Rejecting Opera House Project Bids and Authorizing
Rebidding of Project, was presented to the Board and read in its entirety by Mayor Harmless.
Mrs. Crawley moved to approve Resolution 1992-4 as presented. This motion was seconded by
Mr. Lanie and was carried by an aye unanimous vote.
With no further business,Mr. Lanie moved for adjournment. This motion was seconded
by Mrs.Crawley, was carried by an aye unanimous vote, and the meeting was adjourned at 4:20
p.m.
