a A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
~ ~' LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO FAIRWAY FORD
SALES,INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $61,031.36, TO PURCHASE FOUR
PICK UP TRUCKS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO' EXEGUTE THE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the $100,000.00 yearly equipment upgrade was approved on the City
~ Council Meeting of September 29, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Garage division recommended the purchase of four pickup truck
for FY 1998-99 vehicle upgrade; and ~
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on November 9, 1998, and Fairway Ford
Sales, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder at $61,031.36; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows: ,
' ~ ~ Section 1. That the contract for purchase of four pickup, be awarded to Fairway
Ford Sales for its low bid of $61,03136.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood~and Fairway Ford Sales, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
