.~- ` , WHEREAS, theTree Planting Project, Project Number 5-5210 is ~ -
scheduled for completion du~ing FY 1998-99; and ~_ : ~ :
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 25, 1998, and Nieves ~. ~
' Landscape, Inc., was the lowest responsible bidder at $159,300.00; and
~~ WHEREAS, a reference check has ~revealed that this contractor has the
~. necessary experience for this type of project. .'
~ NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does fiereby ~
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows: ,
~ Section 1. That the contract for the Tree Planting Project, Project
No. 5=5210, be awarded to Nieves Landscape, Inc., for its low bid of $159,300.00. '
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement ~ ~
betw~een the C.ity of Lynwood and Nieves Landscape, ~Inc. ~. ~

~ ~Section- 3. This resolufion .shal! take effect immediately upon its adoption.
