~ FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, A PORTION OF THE NORTHERLY END OF ,. ~
GRANT STREET AS SHOWN ON TRACT NO. 921, IN THE CITY OF ~
. ~ LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF ,CALIFORNIA, MAP , .

,( THE, LOS ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER.
~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on the 5th. day of
January, 1999, adopt ~Resolution No., 99-1, declaring its intention to vacate the northerly end of
.Grant Street; and

~ WHEREAS, notices of said vacation have been publisfied and posted in the time,
form, and manner required by law; and • `
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the matter was held on.the Sixteenth day of ~ ,
February, 1999; as prescribed by law. . ~
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED'by~the City Councif of the City of Lynwood ~as '
follows: . ~ : '
, ~ Section 1. That the following described street easement is unnecessary for present ;
or prospective public use, and that the public interest, necessity and convenience require that the ~
City Council of said City hereby order the vacation and abandonment of said street easement as
shown on.attachment'A and hereby made part of this resolution. ' ~
~ ' That portion of Grant Street in the Cify of Lynwood ~as shown in Tract No~ 921 in
~~ Map Book 18, Pages from 106 to 107 in the County Recorder Office, County of Los Angeles, State
~ of California more spe,cifically described as follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 25; thence S16°13'30"W along the easterly ~,
, line of said lot 54.72' to a non-tangent curve with a radial N35°25'S6:1 °W and radius 25.5', thence ~
northeasterly and then southeasterly along said curve 45.98' to the westerly line of Lot 44; thence
N16°13'30"E along said line 62:72' to the northwest corner of Lot 45; thence N85°05'W 40.79' to
the point of Beginning; ~
Section 2. The City Council of the City of'Lynwood does hereby determine that
~the public convenience and necessity require that an easement be retained for construction;and
maintenance of utility lines within the limits of alley vacation as described in Section 1.

Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall cause a certified copy
, of said order,to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of.Los Angeles County
: Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
