~ CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL '
CHANGE TO THE CITY'S STREET RECONSTRUCTION- ~
SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT ; .
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 ~ ~

'~ WHEREAS, in March of 1998, Lynwood City Council aliocated $2,004,573 in '
~±~. ` CDBG:funds public improvement-street reconstruction. Of this amount $445 567 . !-
~ was allocated for sidewalk reconstruction;~and ~ `„
. '~WHEREAS, Lynwood City Council desires to in`crease the number of
sidewalk irpprovement loeations within the approved project allocation amount: and

.. ~~ WHEREAS,.an amendment to-the fiscal Year 1997-98 Consoiidated P.lan to ~
add new project Jocations; constitutes a Substantial Change. ;

NOW, THEREFORE, tfie City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby ~
find, determine, order and resolve as follows ~ ~
SECTION 1. ApProve and adopt an amendment to~ Fiscal Year 1997-98
Consolidated Plan`, reflecting a Substantial Change to increase locations for the ~
sidewalk improvement project. ~ ~ . i

~ SECTIONI 2. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to make final ~ {~ .
amendments to the Consolidated Plan for fiscal year 1997-98.
