~ ' ~~ WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the United State Postal Service that `
mechanical meters will be obsolete as of March 1, 1999; and ~
• , WHEREAS, the City has determined the needs of the City are best met by the
; purchasing of the Pitney Bowes Paragon Mailing Center 2000; and .~
' WHEREAS, it is financially sound, to purchase the center.through a'S payment plan - '
with no interest. • ~

~ : NOW, THEREFORE; the City Council of the City of Lynwood~ does resolve as ~
follows: .
Section l. .Tliat the Mayor is authorized to sign an agreemenf with Pitney Bowes '
~ for a 5 payriierit; plan in purchase of the Paragon Mailing Center 2000. • ~
~ Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. ~ .
