RESOLUTION NO. 75 i8
RESOLUTION CONSOLIDATING THE INDEPENDENCE BEACH
WATER AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECTS, APPROVING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND ORDERING ADVERTISE-
MENT FOR BIDS THEREON.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.7.s S2 passed by the City Council
of the City of Medina on the 4 day of p1d,i,&A , 1975, the City Engineer
has prepared plans and specifications for the Independence Beach Sanitary Sewer
Project as outlined in said resolution and has presented such plans and specifica-
tions to the City Council for approval; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.7.5-/G passed by the City Council
of the City of Medina on the / day of r,'/ , 1975, the City Engineer
has prepared plans and specifications for the Independence Beach Water Improve-
ment Project as set forth in said resolution and has presented such plans and
specifications to the City Council for approval; and
WHEREAS, the public improvements instituted under the foregoing
resolutions were instituted at substantially the same date and may be more
economically completed if joined in one project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina as follows:
1. The public improvement projects as set forth in the foregoing
resolutions are hereby consolidated under the name of
INDEPENDENCE SEWER AND WATER PROJECT;
2. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference, are hereby
approved.
3. The City Engineer shall prepare and the City Clerk shall cause
to be inserted in the official newspaper and any other trade
publication deemed suitable by the City Engineer, an advertise-
ment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be
published for d'en the official newspaper, shall specify
the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the
City Clerk until 1000 A.M. on the /C day of , 1975,
at which time such bids as have been received will be blically
opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of
Medina by the City Clerk and the City Engineer, will then
be tabulated, and will be considered by the City Council at
its regular meeting, at $p U P.M. on the U day of
, 1975, in the Council Chambers. No bids
will1 !7e considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk
prior to 1Q00 A.M. on the /% day of / , 1975,

accompanied by ecash deposit or cashier's c 'eck payable
to the City Clerk in an amount equal to.5% of the amount of
such bid.
