RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A
SANITARY SEWER AND COLLECTION SYSTEM AND WATERMAIN
IMPROVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota,
as follows:
(1) It is hereby found, determined and declared that the lowest two
bids submitted by responsible contractors for the construction
are as follows:
BIDDER PRICE
G. L. Contracting
Beatson & Kelly Construction
$695,934.00
712,700.00
(2) The contracts for the construction of a sanitary sewer and
collection system and watermain improvement are hereby
awarded to the lowest bidder of the work; and the Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to return the bid deposits of all bidders except the lowest two
bidders. The bid deposits of the lowest two bidders for each respective
schedule shall be retained pending the execution of contracts.
?1 The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into contracts
with the low bidder of the work upon said bidder furnishing a
satisfactory corporate surety bond conditioned upon the satisfactory performance
of the work according to plans and specifications and otherwise as required by
law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member/tO-n�it�'(/� ; and upon a vote being taken, the following
members voted in favor thereof:

whereupon said resolution wa declared passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the City of Medina, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have carefully compared
the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the City Council
of said City, held on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof
on file in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript
thereof insofar as said minutes relate to considering bids and awarding contracts
for construction of a sanitary sewer and collection system and watermain improve-
ment.

EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a
meeting
of the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, was held at the City

The Clerk presented affidavits of publication in the official
newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin of a notice to contractors to
submit bids for the construction of a sanitary sewer and collection system
and watermain improvement. Said affidavits were examined, approved and
ordered filed. The Mayor then announced that the meeting was open for the
purpose of considering bids; and the Clerk announced that he had received
nine bids for said work which, upon being opened, were found to be as follows:
