A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF '
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CITYWIDE HOUSE NUMBER
PAINTING PROJECT IMPLEMENTED UNDER THE
SHERIFF'S EXPLORERS PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER.

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department is sponsoring the
Sheriffs Explorers Program;.and.
WHEREAS, said Program provides the utilization of youth explores to perform
tasks that are to improve the~-community quality of living; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriffs Explorers Program is initiating the Citywide
House Number Painting Project, which will cost $15,750.
WHEREAS, said Project will provide for the painting of new house
numbers in the residential areas, citywide; and
. WHEREAS, City Council of the City of Lynwood desires to support said
Program; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified unappropriated General Fund that can be
used for said Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order, and resolve as follows: `
Section 1. That the City Council approves the Citywide House Number
Painting Project sponsored by the Sheriffs Explorers Program.
Section 2. .That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make
the following funds appropriation and transfer:

Unappropriated General Fund
$15,750.00
TO
Citywide House Number
Painting Project
$15,750:00
Section 3. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
