A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
: LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PICKARD -
ARCHITECTS IN THE AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $86,500.00. ~ ,,
• FOR THE DESIGN AND THE BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION -
ADMINTSTRATION SERVICES FOR THE NATATORIUM
• .REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER
~5•-5208, FY 1998-99; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT "
` WHEREAS; the Natatorium Rehabilitation Project, Project Number 5-5208 is .
listed in the FY .1998-99, budgef ;and
WHEREAS; Request for Proposals (RFP) for`the design of the City Hall Annex
Rehabilitation Project was advertised on November 27, 1998; and
_ : WHEREAS, a job.walk of the site was conducted on December 7, 1998; and
• ' ~ WHEREAS, on February 4, 1999,.staff interviewed the participating consultants
and selected Pickard!Architects for its experience, organization,. acid familiarity with this type of
project; and• `
WHEREAS, said consulting firm has agreed to provide the design services for
$66,500.00 and the bidding/construction administration for anot-to-exceed fee of $20,000.00
NOW; THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
- proclaim,. order and resolve as follows:

~ - Section 1. That the contract_for the~design and the bidding/construction
administration services for-the Natatorium Rehabilitation Project, Project Number 5-5208; be
awarded to Pickard Architects for the total price ofnot-to-exceed $86,500.00. -
Section 2. That the Mayor is .hereby authorized to execute the agreement between -
the City of Lynwood and Pickard Architects. • -
Section 3. This resolution shallaake effect immediately upon its adoption.
