A RESOLUTION .Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ®F LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION. PLAN ~ AND/OR MANAGEMENT SALARY
.SCHEDULE RELATIVE ~ TO THE POSITIONS OF PERSONNEL OFFICER,
PUBLIC .RELATIONS OFFICER, AS51S1`ANT CITY MANAGER` AND
ADMTNISTRATIV€ ASSISTANT TO THE CITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an
:. Employee Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as
needed; and
~. ~ WHEREAS, the .City Council of the City of Lynwood has' adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules for Management; and
WF/EREAS, .the City, has identified a need for salary adjustments for the
positions of Personnel Officer, Public Relations Officer, Assistant City .Manager. and
Administrative Assistant to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, classification statements have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the City has: identifed a need to change the existing position job
titles relative to Human Resources and Media Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councif of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows: .
- Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Flan and
appropriate salary schedule to reflect the following:

Personnel Officer ~ ~ 47M $3,677 - $4,472
Public Relations Officer ~ 47M $3,677 - $4,472
Administrative Asst. to the City Council 47M $3,677 - $4.,4.72
Section 2. That incumbents holding the positions of Personnel Officer and
Public Relations Officer at July 1, 1998 be y-rated to allow the continuance of salary
.at range received prior to reclassification. .
SeGtiori 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
