Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 972 FY19 Appropriations ORDINANCE NO. 972 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE FY19 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2018, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $24,028,300 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF McCALL FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO: SECTION 1. TITLE: This Ordinance shall be entitled and cited as the "FY18 Annual Appropriation Ordinance of the City of McCall." SECTION 2. FINDINGS: The City Council finds: , A. As required by law, the city has duly noticed and held a public hearing on the 9th day of August 2018 for a proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 (FY19) for the City of McCall, Idaho; and B. That the sum of$24,028,300 be, and the same is, appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of McCall, Valley County, State of Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2018. C. That the appropriations and sums of money as are hereinafter set forth in Section 3 are deemed necessary to defray all the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of McCall for FY19. SECTION 3. ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION OF EXPENDITURE: The City Council hereby adopts the budget and the appropriation of expenditures for the City of McCall, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2018, and ending September 30, 2019 the objects for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows: ORDINANCE NO. 972—Passage Date August 23, 2018 I of 3 APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE—FY19 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES: GENERAL FUND Mayor and Council $279,681 Info Systems $438,449 City Manager $405,088 Administrative Costs $322,740 Finance Department $398,397 Clerk Department $264,280 Local Option Tax Department $621,200 Community Development $888,757 Police Department $1,695,081 Parks $707,127 Grants $67,974 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) $2,143,015 Contingency $222,902 GENERAL FUND TOTAL $8,454,691 Streets/Public Works Fund $2,657,973 Library Fund $885,501 Recreation Fund $2,039,152 Airport Fund $908,368 Local Option Tax—Streets $4,823,831 Golf Fund $1,217,655 Water Fund $3,041,129 SPECIAL REVENUE & ENTERPRISE FUND EXPENDITURES $15,573,609 TOTAL PROPOSED EXPENDITURES $24,028,300 SECTION 4. TAX LEVY: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of McCall be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2018. SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 6. The City Clerk is directed to forthwith publish this Ordinance and file a certified copy of the same with the office of the Secretary of State of the State of Idaho as provided in I.C. §50-1003 and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of The Star-News, a newspaper for general circulation of the City of McCall, and the official newspaper of said City.
