AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO REPEALING&
REENACTING SECTION 6-2-070,EXTENSION OF CONNECTION, IN CHAPTER 2, WATER
SERVICE, OF TITLE 6, UTILITY SERVICES, OF THE McCALL CITY CODE PROVIDING
FOR THE CONNECTION OF WATER SERVICE FROM THE CITY TO PREMISES NOT
ABUTTING UPON A CITY MAIN.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Section 6-2-070, Extension of Connection, in Chapter 2, Water
Service, of Title 6, Utility Services, of the McCall City Code is hereby REPEALED in its entirety.
Section 2: That Section 6-2-070, Extension of Connection, in Chapter 2, Water
Service, of Title 6, Utility Services, of the McCall City Code is hereby REENACTED as follows,
to-wit:
6-2-070: EXTENSION OF CONNECTION: For applications for water service
upon premises not abutting upon a City main, the City may allow a water service
connection from the City's main to the premises a distance equal to the distance
from the main to the property line at right angles therefrom,but in no case a distance
greater than three hundred feet (300') unless approved by the City Engineer, and
allow a metered connection to be made with union and meter assembly meeting the
City's standards to a private water service or main installed and maintained by the
owner of the premises.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO REPEALING &
REENACTING SECTION 6-2-070,EXTENSION OF CONNECTION IN CHAPTER 2, WATER
SERVICE, OF TITLE 6, UTILITY SERVICES, OF THE McCALL CITY CODE PROVIDING
FOR THE CONNECTION OF WATER SERVICE FROM THE CITY TO PREMISES NOT
ABUTTING UPON A CITY MAIN.
The principal provisions of the Ordinance
• provide for the extension of water service to premises not abutting upon
a City main for a distance equal to the distance from the main to the
property line at right angles therefrom, but in no case a distance greater
than three hundred feet (300') unless approved by the City Engineer;
allow a metered connection to be made with union and meter assembly
meeting the City's standards to a private water service or main installed
and maintained by the owner of the premises
The Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval, and publication in accordance with
Idaho law.

Clerk to any citizen upon personal request, or can be viewed on the City website at
www.mccall.id.us.
