A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CURRENT SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT
SALARY SCHEDULE FOR THE INCLUSION OF PROJECT COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City. of Lynwood has adopted a Salary
Schedule which includes a section regarding Special Assignment Compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City has elected to award "special compensation" to individual
employees who are required to perform assignments or carry out responsibilities that are
clearly outside the scope of their job specifications; and
WHEREAS,. the City's increase in infrastructure improvements over the years, as
well as other major, improvements in~programs and new projects have created a need for a
Project Coordinator-Special Assignment pay.
WHEREAS, such special pay is expected to reduce the need to hire additional staff
or consultants to perform these specialized tasks in such areas as housing development,
economic development, and environmental services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Amend the current Special Assignment Compensation Salary
Schedule to reflect the .following:
Project Coordinator. $300:00 - $500.00 Mo.

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
