EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF __M C LL____ ___, IDAHO

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman _Lt2g1La A
read in full , considered and adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. _27_-4 , OF THE CITY OF MCCALL , IDAHO ACCEPTING
THE TIEDOWN CHAIN OFFER OF THE STATE OF IDAHO THROUGH THE IDAHO TRANS-
PORTATION DEPARTMENT (BUREAU OF AERONAUTICS) FOR _LLQ IYZ _ SETS OF
TIEDOWN CHAINS TO BE USED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MccAJL
AIRPORT; and
Be it Resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of McCALL ,
Idaho as follows :
Sec . 1 . That the City of _McCALL shall accept the Tiedown
Chain Offer of the State of Idaho for j0_L O IYZ__ sets of tiedowns .
Sec . 2 . That the Mayor of McCALL___ is hereby authorized and
directed to sign the statement of Acceptance of said Tiedown ChainOffer
on behalf of the City of _MMCALL , and the City Clerk is _hereby
authorized and directed to attest the signature of the Mayor and to
impress the official seal of the City of _McCALL__ on the aforesaid
statement of Acceptance; and

Sec . 3 . A true copy of the Tiedown Chain Agreement is attached
hereto and made a part thereof .

AIRPORT TIE-DOWN AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the State Of Idaho, represented by the Idaho Transporta-
tion Department, Bureau of Aeronautics hereafter referred to as the
"State", and the City of McCall , hereafter referred to as
the "Sponsor" ; and,
WHEREAS, the State has received a request from the Sponsor for as-
sistance in providing for prefabricated aircraft tie-downs .
for installation at the McCall airport in Valley
County at Fifty Percent (50%) of the State' s cost; and,
WHEREAS, the Sponsor agrees to install such kits within sixty
( 60 ) days from the effective date of this Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the Sponsor has selected the tie-down location and agrees
to locate such tie-downs in accordance with an approved airport layout
plan or to meet current geometric standards acceptable to the State;
and,
NOW THEREFORE, the State and the Sponsor do mutually agree as fol
lows, to-wit:
For and in consideration of the Idaho Transportation Department,
Bureau of Aeronautics, having furnished to the City of McCall
forty ( 40 ) Tie-Down Kits, the Sponsor agrees to keep at least
20% of these tie-downs available for use by transient aircraft.
The Sponsor also agrees to inspect and maintain all tie-downs
heretofore furnished under assistance from the State in good condition
at all times.
The Sponsor further agrees to save harmless and hold free from
liability the State from and for any and all losses, claims, actions,
judgments for damages, or injury to persons or property, and losses
and expenses caused or incurred by Sponsor, its servants, agents or .
employees in connection with or arising out of the performance of, this
agreement, and during the term and life of this Agreement and any ex-
tension thereof.
The Sponsor agrees that it has been authorized by Resolution duly
adopted by its City Council to enter, into this Agreement with a copy
for said Resolution attached hereto and made a part hereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The Parties hereto have set their hands this
day of , 1992.

Enclosed are two copies each of a Tiedown Agreement and City
Resolution for 40 sets of tiedown chains for use at the McCall
Airport .
Have the city clerk sign both the agreements and process the
resolutions through a city council meeting. Return one copy of the
agreement and resolution to our office. Keep one copy each for
the airport file.
