A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FROM THE 1999/2000 FISCAL `
YEAR DURING THE 1998/99 FISCAL YEAR CONDUCTION OF THE
1999 UNITY FESTIVAL /JULY 4TH CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to offer a program combining the Unity
Festival and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration to be held on Sunday, July 4, 1099; and
WHEREAS, funding for the Unity Festival /July 4th Celebration must be arranged
in advance of the 1999 -2000 fiscal year budget being adopted by the City Council; and
' WHEREAS, the funding for the Unity Festival /July 4th Fireworks Celebration `
would cost $30,000.000; and
WHEREAS; the funding for this program has been included in the annual .
operating budget of the City of Lynwood on an annual basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes funding in the amount of $30,000.00 for
the Unity Festival /July 4th Celebration,
