1. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE SOLICITATION OF VENDORS THROUGH THE INFORMAL
BID'PROCESS FOR THE' 1999 UNITY FESTIVAL /JULY 4TH CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to offer a program combining the Unity
Festival and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of these services would be more economically and
efficiently effected through the use of the informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by a 4/5 vote can approve funding through an
alternate bid procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order. and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council waives the formal bid procedure for the provision of
the 1999 Fireworks of July4th.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 1st day of June 1999.
