HomeMy Public PortalAbout1976-013RESOLUTION 76-13 EXCEPTION TO PLATTING REQUIREMENTS AS PER ORDINANCE NO. 159 WHEREAS Mr, and Mrs. George Pieh and Mr. and Mrs. William Nelson meet conditions of elegibility under Ordinance No. 150, of this city, for exception to platting requirements and WHEREAS they have submitted an old survey, updated sketches, and legal descriptions, (as follows) of their proposed division, together with the required administration fee NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Medina City Council does hereby gre.nt the following variances: 1. Variance from platting requirement for division of the Goerge Pieh property into 2 parcels. 2. Variance from lot width requirement to provide for 100 foot widths for each lot. DE IT RESOLVED ALSO that the existing sewer and water assessment be split equally between the two lots with an addition assessment of $1506.00 to bring the assessment to full unit. Charges to be paid to city before building permit is issued. LEGAL DESCRIPTION Northwesterly parcel That part of Government Lot 2, Section 18, Township 118 North, Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as follows: Cormencing at the Southeast corner of said Government Lot 2; thence West on the South line of said Government Lot 2 a distance of 396 feet; thence North 297 feet; thence North 70 degrees West a distance of 755 feet to the point of beginning of the property being described; thence continuing North 70 degrees West a distance of 100 feet; thence at an angle to the left of 90 degrees to the shore line of Lake Independence; thence Easterly along said shore line to a point which is 100 feet Easterly at right angles from the above described Westerly line; thence North- easterly and aprallel with the 'bove described Westerly line to the point of beginning. Southeasterly parcel That part of Government Lot 2, Section 18, Township 118 North, Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian,described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Government Lot 2; thence West on the South line of said Government Lot 2 a distance of 396 feet; thence North 297 feet; thence North 70 degrees West a distance of 655 feet to the point of beginning of the property being described; thence continuing North 70 degrees West a distance of 100 feet; thence at an angle to the left of 90 degrees to the shore line of Lake Independence thence Easterly along said shore line to a point which is 100 feet Easterly at right angles from the above described Westerly line; thence Northeasterly and aprallel with the above described Westerly line to the point of beginning.
