RESOLUTION 2002-1
A RESOLUTION DECREASING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN
THE 2002 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE AND
AUTHORIZING THE PROCEEDS FROM OCTOBER LOT SALES
AT FOREST HILL CEMETERY TO BE DEPOSITED IN THE CEMETERY GROUND
IMPROVEMENT FUND
WHEREAS, The Forest Hill Cemetery Board has requested the proceeds from October
lot sales be placed in the Cemetery Ground Improvement Fund;
WHEREAS, The Forest Hill Cemetery Board has agreed to decrease the 2002 Cemetery
Budget, Roads and Grounds, appropriation 205001365, by Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to
help offset revenue lost due to this change;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Greencastle Common Council hereby accepts the
proposal to reduce the Cemetery Budget, appropriation number 205001365 - Roads and Grounds
by Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) and agrees to allow proceeds from October lot sales (as
well as May and June) be placed in the Cemetery Ground Improvement Fund.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at their
Regular meeting this 8th day of January, 2002.
