A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play a
key role in assisting, retaining; and attracting new business and industry to the community.
WHEREAS, a matching fund grant of$34,500 from the interest earned on the Industrial
Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center,Inc., for
2002, and the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center shall raise an equivalent sum from
other sources.
WHEREAS, any expenditures from the Industrial Development Fund must be approved in
writing by a majority of the members of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial
Development.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the Gr encastle Common Council authorizes
the expenditure of$34,500 per annum- $17,250 payable in.J nd the remainder in October-for
the year 2002 in matching funds from the Industrial Development Fund, subject to the approval of
,,., the Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council ofthe City of Greencastle at its regular
meeting this 11th day of June, 2002.
