"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO "CIVIL WORKS CORPORATION", IN THE
I~t AMOUNT OF $74,950.00 FOR THE CITY HALL PARKING LOT
f IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, ALTERNATE,"B", PROJECT NO. 5-5148, FISCAL
YEAR 1999-2000, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT".
WHEREAS, City Hall Parking Lot Improvement Project, Project No. 5-
5148, is scheduled for completion during FY 1999-2000; and
WHEREAS, the City Hall Parking Lot Improvement Project is funded by
CIP Revenue Bonds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 23, 1999, and Civil Works
Corporation was the lowest responsible bidder at $74,950.00 for Alternative "B"; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
experience for this type of project. -
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
' Section 1. That the contract for the. City Hall Parking Lot Improvement

Works Corporation, for its low bid.of $74,950.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Civil Works Corporation. .
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
