A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY LOAN OF
FOREST HILL CEMETERY GROUND IMPROVEMENT FUNDS
(FUNDING FOR DIXIE CHOPPER MOWER)
WHEREAS, the Property Tax Distribution for 2003 (2002 payable 2003) will not be
available until late September or October, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle Common Council and the Forest Hill Cemetery
Board has a Dixie Chopper Mower to purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Forest Hill Cemetery Board has agreed to purchase this mower out of the
Forest Hill Cemetery Ground Improvement Funds, to be repaid once the Property Tax
Distributions have been made.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Greencastle Common Council
authorizes the expenditure of$3,500.00 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars)to be spent out
of the Forest Hill Cemetery Ground Improvement Funds to be repaid by December 31, 2003. No
interest will be paid.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
Regular Meeting this 8th day of April, 2003.
