HomeMy Public PortalAbout29-2003-29 S CANNED � RESOLUTION NO. 2003- A RESOLUTION SELLING SURPLUS PROPERTY TO GREENCASTLE POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle has acquired Self Contained Breathing Apparatus for the purpose of fire suppression; and WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle owns older Self Contained Breathing Apparatus which is no longer needed or used by the Greencastle Fire Department; and WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle desires to transfer ownership of said Self Contained Breathing Apparatus to the Greencastle Police Department. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE hereby transfers ownership of two older Self Contained Breathing Apparatus to the Greencastle Police Department for the consideration of$ 1.00. Said Transfer shall take place upon passage of a comparable resolution by the Greencastle Police Department. Further,the City of Greencastle makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and the Greencastle Police Department takes ownership to said SCBA"as is"and shall hold the City harmless for any liability arising from this transfer of property.
