A RESOLUTION SELLING SURPLUS PROPERTY
TO BAINBRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has acquired Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
for the purpose of fire suppression; and
WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle owns older Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
which is no longer needed or used by the Greencastle Fire Department; and
WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle desires to transfer ownership of said Self Contained
Breathing Apparatus to the Bainbridge Fire Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
hereby transfers ownership of six newer Self Contained Breathing Apparatus to the Bainbridge
Fire Department for the consideration of$2000.00. Said Transfer shall take place upon passage
of a comparable resolution by the Bainbridge Fire Department.
Further,the City of Greencastle makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the Self
Contained Breathing Apparatus and the Bainbridge Fire Department takes ownership to said
SCBA"as is"and shall hold the City harmless for any liability arising from this transfer of
property.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its
regular meeting this 10th day of June 2003.

This is to inform you that the Bainbridge Fire Dept. is interested in the used
SCBA'S you are selling/giving to local departments. We would like to purchase five
SCBA's that are less than 2 years old and 1 older SCBA, all with extra bottles and masks.
We would like to make this purchase for the amount of$2000.
Please contact our department when the SCBA's become available. If you have
