HomeMy Public PortalAbout1976-023RESOLUTION 76-23 REGARDING PETITION TO STUDY MOONEY LAKE WATER LEVEL WHEREAS there is a water level problem at Mooney Lake caused by urbanization of Plymouth, and WHEREAS urbanization is on the Plymouth shoreline and not in Medina nor brono, and WHEREAS Medina has no funds for watershed study in that area and is severely dis- advantaged in funding any projects including street and road construction and upkeep. NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the Medina City Council rejects the proposal for petition to study the Mooney Lake problem as requested by the City of Plymouth and calls on the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and the City of Plymouth to solve the Mooney Lkae drainage problem in Plymouth. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Metropolitan Council, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, Kingsley Murphy, Charles Weaver, the City of Orono and the City of Plymouth. Adopted by the Council of the City of Medina this 6th day of July, 1976. o� �el Clerk
