A RESOLUTION. OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
' WHEREAS, The Communication .Research And Planning
j ~ . committee has identified needed-.improvements in the CAD system, and

WHEREAS, The committee has identified the time frame to
implement the needed improvements,. and
WHEREAS, The reliability of the dispatch center is of supreme
importance; and ~ ..
WHEREAS, We are presently a part of the Joint Powers
Communication Center, JPCC, and
WHEREAS, By improving the CAD system will ensure the proper
operation of JPCC in Y2K, and ~ ~ ~ ~.
NOW. THEREFORE,'THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
'DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
' Section 1. That the City of Lynwood shall participate in the _
required upgrading of the Joint Powers Communications Center and Equipment and
Technology Plan. '
{--- Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee~is authorized to '
transfer funds.as follows:

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon
