A RESOLUTION SELLING SURPLUS PROPERTY
TO THE TOWN OF RUSSELLVILLE
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle owns a Ford Crown Victoria which is no longer needed or
used by the Greencastle Police Department;and
WHEREAS,the City of Greencastle desires to transfer ownership of said vehicle to the Russellville
Police Department;and
WHEREAS,said transfer is being made pursuant to Indiana Code 36-1-11-8;
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE hereby transfers
ownership of its 1995 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN#2FALP71W6SX184200, to the Town of Russellville for
the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00). Said transfer shall take place upon passage of a comparable
resolution by the Town of Russellville.
Further,the City of Greencastle makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the vehicle and the Town
of Russellville takes ownership to said vehicle "as is" and shall hold the City harmless for any liability
arising from this transfer of property.
PASS D AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its regular
meeting this PASS
of August,2003.
