. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ALL AMERICAN
ASPHALT, IN THE AMOUNT OF.$113,687..00; FOR THE
'LORRAlN ST., NORTON AVE., 110TH ST. AND 111TH ST.
- IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER
' S-5196, 5-5199 FISCAL YEAR 1998-1999, AND AUTHORIZING
-• ~ THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ~ .
. WHEREAS; the Lorrain St:, Norton Ave., 110th St.,,and 111th St.
"„ Improvement Project, Project Number 5-5,1.96 and 5-5199 is scheduled for completion during
` FY 1999-2000; and `
WHEREAS, the Lorrain St., Norton°Ave., 110th St. and 111th St.
Improvement Project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant funds; and •
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 30, 1999, and All American _
Asphalt, was the lowest responsible bidder at $1'13,687.00; .and

WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
necessary experience for this type of project. ~~
'`': NOW, THEREFORE,. the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
~ ;° ~ find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:

Section 1. That the contract for the Lorrain St.; Norton Ave., 110th St. and
1l lth St. Improvement"Project, Project Number 5-5196 and 5-5199 .be awarded to All
. ,American Asphalt for its low bid of $113,687.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and All American Asphalt Paving Company. ' .
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
