A .RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE INFORMAL BIDDING "
` PROCESS FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAfN VEHICLES
AND EQUIPMENT

. ; WHEREAS, on July 6, 1999, City Council adopted Resolution. 99-104. ,
approving the purchase of a van•for the Public Safety Services Division/Lynwood~
Ambassador Program, and a sedan for the Neighborhood' Services,.and-a Radar Laser
Gun for Traffic Safety Enforcement; and
= WHEREAS, said purchase can be.more econorriieaily and expeditiously
- done through' an informal bidding; and
- ~ ~ ~ .
" WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Section 6-3.13 allows the
informal bidding process with a 4/5 vote..
NOW, THEREFORE-;.the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
` find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows: "~ ~ . ,

Section 2. That staff is authorized to purchase said vehicles and "
equipment tliroug'h an informal. bidding. process. _
Section. 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately ,upon its adoption.
