A RESOLUTfON'OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF
LYNWOOD ORDERI~dG THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES THAT
PORTION .OF ~WRIGHT 'ROAD BETWEEN JOSEPHINE
AVENUE AND LAVINIA AVENUE

,.~.. ~ WHEREAS, the City Coiahcil of the City of Lynwood did, on the 6th day of
f July, 1999, adopted Resolution No. 99-100, declaring its intention to vacate a. portion of
Wright .Road between Josephine Avenue and Lavinia Avenue;.. and
WHEREA'S;. notices of said vacation have been .posted in the time, form,
and manner required bylaw; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the matter was held on the 3rd day of
August,,1999, as. prescribed by law:
N01N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by~the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as.follows:
:Section 1. That the described .portion of street as shown in Attachment
"A", attached herewith-, is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that
the public interest; necessity arid convenience require that the City Council of said City
hereby order the vacation and abandonment of a portion of said street.
Section 2. That. the City Council of th`e City of Lynwood does hereby
determine that the public convenience and necessity 'require that an easement be
,retained for construction and maintenance of utilities within the limits of said portion of
street as described in Section 1. '

- Section 3. That;' the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall cause a
certified copy of said order o be. recorded in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles
County.
' Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
