A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF
TRANSPORTATION~DEVELOPMENT ACT, ARTICLE 3
FUNDS TO THE SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT,
PROJECT 5-5199, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS
APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, staff has identified $33,741of unappropriated Transportation
Development Act (TDA); Article 3 funds; and
WHEREAS, said funds are balance of TDA funds previously appropriated to various
capital improvement projects for construction of pedestrian facilities; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified various locations citywide where reconstruction
of sidewalk is needed; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks are eligible for the use of said funds; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks can be efficiently added to the scope of the
on-going Sidewalk Reconstruction Project, Project 5-5199; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council desires to continue providing safe
pedestrian facilities to its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approve the appropriation.of $33,741 of
unappropriated TDA funds to the Sidewalk Reconstruction Project, Project 5-5199.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to make
the following funds transfer and appropriations:
